Who plays what?
MEET THE ATTICS
Nathan P.
Being the eldest of The Attics, it's appropriate that he holds things together
Instrument: Drums
Timing is everything. Without him, The Attics wouldn't happen. He may remind you a little of Classic Rock, or 1980's Rock in his style, but mimicry is not one of his descriptors. He is solely responsible for all creativity in percussion. This certainly can be challenging when dealing with three different song writers, with distinctly different styles. No problem for him though, because He's three drummers in one!!!
Jared D.
Brings originality, and a little blues into the equation
Instrument: rhythm & Lead Guitar/Bass
He is the riff master, creating many of our original, foot tapping chord progressions. He is also an excellent Lead Guitarist, with a distinct blues style all his own. On top of all of this, Jared is one of our Three vocalists. He's either Leading the crew with his excellent vocal range, or adding an integral harmony to complete The Attics sound.
Paul K.
The quick fingered Solo Artist, who is mostly responsible for the "Rock" in our music
Instrument: Lead & rhythm Guitar
Known by many as being The Attics front man, he adds a solo style that can bring you to your feet. Also an excellent Lead Vocalist, that gives you that slight "Tragically Hip" feel. Harmonies? No sweat for this guy. When called upon, He's a background vocal keystone, keeping the music tight for your endless enjoyment.
Joe D.
Call him a musical mutt. The Guitarist with a Heinz 57 style
Instrument: Bass/rhythm Guitar
He grew up with "Guitar on the brain", and brings a Bass style based on many different musical genres: Canadian Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative, 1980's Rock, Oldies, and even a little Country. Also the occasional Lead vocalist, with a strong voice that can be heard without a microphone. He is also a regular at background vocals, and helps round out The Attics' Three Part Harmony.
THE ATTICS
With these four Gentlemen, you have one complete sound. All music performed by the band was written by all members. Missing any of these key components would disrupt the chemistry that flows between them. What The Attics have musically is reliant upon each individual, and each of their unique musical backgrounds. Despite their varying musical backgrounds, they are all on the same page when playing as a band. THIS is what makes them COMPLETELY original.

Well, The Attics are ready to reenter the studio with their recording engineer from their last album, James Wooten. Set to produce another rock album, James will be there for the entire session, putting in his input and the Attics ignoring it. Hopefully it will be a production nightmare for all involved.

It seems The Attics have enough material to create a box set style release, including outtakes, live tracks, acoustic tracks, and the like. Quite possibly the attics will release a few live tracks on a bonus cd and are going to also create a dvd as part of a bonus release which will include the recording process, the mixing process, the peeing process, the drinking process, the insulting process, the wrestling and punching process, the foosball process, and the screwing around process. Look for it in stores soon, and by stores I mean maybe someones house.

We are also in the process of posting tour data on our blog so look out for that soon.

Please post ideas with what you would like to see in a dvd.
